Legal Disclosures & Commitments

Last revised: October 2026 // Governing law: Spain / European Union

0. Operator Identification

This register is issued by ChromeLayoutDream, a web design studio operating from Carrer Tortosa, 18, Masdenverge, Spain. Formal correspondence may be addressed to [email protected] or to the postal address above.

The studio provides responsive layout composition, website construction, performance rework, and related maintenance services. All engagements are governed by the documents published on this page in the order set out in the Terms of Service.

Section 1 // GDPR (EU) 2016/679

Privacy Policy

1.1 Controller. ChromeLayoutDream, Carrer Tortosa, 18, Masdenverge, Spain, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and its inquiry console. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].

1.2 Data we collect. We collect the details you submit through the inquiry console — name, email address, phone number, company or project name, selected service type, budget band, target timeline, and brief content — together with technical logs such as IP address, user agent, and page timestamps generated by ordinary server operation.

1.3 Purpose and legal basis. Inquiry data is processed to respond to your request, prepare a fixed-price quotation, perform a contracted build, and maintain accounting records. Processing rests on pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interest in operating the studio (Art. 6(1)(f)), and legal obligation for tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

1.4 Retention. Unsuccessful inquiries are erased after 12 months. Client project records and invoices are retained for the periods required by Spanish commercial and tax law, currently up to 6 years.

1.5 Recipients. Data is shared only with processors that host our mail, analytics, and payment infrastructure under written data-processing agreements. We do not sell, rent, or broker personal data to third parties.

1.6 Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Complaints may be lodged with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your national supervisory authority.

Section 2 // Commercial Engagement

Terms of Service

2.1 Scope. These terms govern every layout composition, website build, performance rework, audit, and retainer supplied by ChromeLayoutDream. A quotation, the selected service slab, and these terms together form the binding statement of work.

2.2 Pricing and payment. Quoted rates are fixed in euros or US dollars as stated on the quotation. Builds are invoiced 50% on acceptance and 50% on handover; slabs above €2,000 may be split into three instalments. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within 14 calendar days.

2.3 Client inputs. The client supplies final copy, images, brand assets, and access credentials in a timely manner. Delivered content delays the schedule day for day; the studio is not liable for slippage caused by missing or late inputs.

2.4 Revisions. Each slab includes two consolidated rounds of revisions during the composition phase. Work beyond the approved scope, or revisions requested after sign-off, are quoted as additional slabs before any work begins.

2.5 Intellectual property. Upon receipt of final payment, ChromeLayoutDream assigns all worldwide rights in the client-specific layout, source files, and design artifacts to the client. The studio retains the right to display the delivered work in its portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.

2.6 Warranty. For 30 days after handover, the studio repairs at no cost any defect where the delivered work deviates from the approved scope. The warranty does not cover alterations made by third parties, third-party plugin failures, or changes to browser or platform behaviour after handover.

2.7 Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the studio's aggregate liability under any engagement is limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the affected slab. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

2.8 Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the client's country of residence. Disputes are first raised informally to [email protected] and, failing resolution, before the competent courts of Catalonia.

Section 3 // Local Storage & Tracking

Cookie Policy

3.1 What we place. This site uses a single first-party entry, cookie_consent in your browser's localStorage, to remember whether you accepted or limited cookies. It holds no personal identifier and expires only when you clear site data.

3.2 Strictly necessary. Session cookies required to deliver pages securely and to protect form submissions against forgery run by default, as the site cannot function without them. These fall under the legitimate-interest exemption of the ePrivacy Directive.

3.3 Analytics. Aggregated, IP-masked measurement of page loads and render performance is loaded only after you press "Accept & Enter" on the consent banner. Declining keeps measurement scripts disabled for that browser.

3.4 Third-party embeds. The contact page embeds a Google Maps frame; Google may set its own cookies when that frame loads. We load maps lazily so nothing is placed before you scroll to it. Review Google's own policies for details on their processing.

3.5 Managing cookies. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies preserves core browsing but disables the stored consent preference, so the banner will reappear on your next visit.

Section 4 // Cancellations & Reimbursements

Refund Policy

4.1 Cooling-off period. Consumers resident in the EU may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of acceptance, as provided by Directive 2011/83/EU. If work has already started at your express request, a proportionate amount reflecting work completed is deducted from the refund.

4.2 Pre-composition cancellation. If you cancel before the composition phase begins — that is, before the first layout components are built — ChromeLayoutDream refunds all amounts paid minus any non-recoverable third-party costs (such as purchased fonts, stock imagery, or domain registrations) documented in the cancellation note.

4.3 Mid-build cancellation. After composition begins, payments cover work already performed and are not refundable. We deliver all completed files and an itemised state report so no paid work is lost.

4.4 Non-conforming work. If delivered work materially deviates from the agreed scope and we fail to remedy it within the 30-day warranty window, you may request a partial or full reimbursement of the affected slab, calculated against the defective portion of the deliverable.

4.5 Retainers. Maintenance retainers may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date; the current month remains payable and unused prepaid months beyond the current cycle are returned within 14 days of the cancellation request.

4.6 How to claim. Send the invoice number and description of the claim to [email protected]. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of approval.
